Shrek Smoothie
Attention: menopausal, tired, stressed, bloated and most importantly OVER IT, women out there. This recipe is your new best friend. I call it the Shrek smoothie, purely because it’s green and Shrek is one of my favourite movies.
Shrek has your back, and knows exactly what you need bright an early in the morning. This is a no frills, no fuss way to relign your body with nutrients it desperately needs! He’s going to provide you with ALL the ingredients to a happier, healthier you. Fear not, this smoothie tastes nothing like an olga, it’s sweet, nourishing and satisfying.
Just blitz and beam ladies.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 1 Prep Time 5 mins
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
2 tbsps pumpkin seeds
1 cup zucchini (frozen)
1 banana (frozen or fresh)
1 cup baby spinach
1/3 cup rolled oats
METHOD
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glass and enjoy!
