Stewed Plums

INGREDIENTS

MAKES 2 cups PREP + COOK TIME 30 mins

8 small/6 large plums, deseeded, quartered

1/2 cup lemon juice

1/2 cup water

1-2 tbsp honey

METHOD

  1. Heat plums, water and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until plums are heated through and begins to break down and bubble; reduce for 20 mins.

  2. Take off heat and stir in honey.

  3. Serve immediately, or transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
